GP practices are now required to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and to have reception areas that are accessible to wheelchair users. The Furniture Group worked in consultation with this practice to provide a cost effective solution to transform the left hand section of the reception area so that it was DDA compliant.
The use of an attractive wood provides a simple counter to the uniform corporate look that can be found in many reception areas. The space is instantly accommodating and aesthetically pleasing. The reception window is closed with a concertina screen. (Price shown here is for counter only).
