The Furniture Group has experience of working with small community groups to design and make specific products. For example, we have worked with local residents from gardening groups to design and make benches and planters for local green spaces. We have also worked with school groups to design and make benches for school playgrounds. These projects would typically involve 6 workshops starting with the development of ideas, followed by scale model making, and creating a prototype. Other stages of involvement are manufacturing, finishing, fixing and installing. We have particular expertise at working with people with disabilities. To download our brochure, please click here.
