GP Reception Desks

GP practices are now required to comply with the CQC's Outcome 10 (Suitability and Safety of Premises) and to develop inclusive environments for people with disabilities.

Reception areas are the first point of contact with a GP service and so the reception desk should have a lowered section to provide access for wheelchair users as well as incorporating an induction loop.

Every practice environment is different. The Furniture Group sees this as a challenge to utilise the space in the most efficient and creative way. We build reception desks to any shape or size. Our reception desks are colour contrasted to assist people with visual impairments. The desks house storage units, shelving and cable management systems for telephones and computers.

Available in any colour.

What our clients say:

"The advice, service, planning, build quality, tidiness and completion were all impeccable. A faultless experience as far as our team is concerned"
Dr David Chesover, Senior Partner, Thornhills Medical Practice

"We had an infection control inspection last Friday, the officer could not believe the difference to our clinical rooms. We passed with flying colours :)"
Julie Murphy, Practice Manager, Finchampstead Surgery

"Not only did the chap from the CQC take pictures of your skirting he also said that he thought it was a very high standard professional job as you had coved under/around the plug sockets which he didn't see that often! As far as he is concerned all the jobs have been excellently executed - so well done you deserve it."
