This project involved the refurbishment of 11 x GP Consulting Rooms, 3 x WCs including one disabled WC, a shower room, kitchen and corridor. All Consulting rooms were completely stripped out and redecorated using anti-bacterial paint, new HTM61 flooring was installed, new blinds fitted and new medical grade work tops and cabinets were also fitted. New sinks and taps were installed to meet HTM64 guidelines. We supplied GP seating, examination lights, privacy blinds, blinds, hand sanitisers, towel dispensers and wall guards. We supplied all of the GP door signs and directional signs. After the works were completed, the surgery was visited by infection control inspectors. The Practice Manager sent the following message to us: “We had an infection control inspection last Friday, the officer could not believe the difference to our clinical rooms. We passed with flying colours :)”. Above is a before and after image of one of the Consulting rooms.
