The Furniture Group has worked with Charter Medical Centre to create two GP Consulting Rooms from one space previously used as patient note storage. This work involved the installation of a partition wall, new doorways, re-routing the plumbing and electrical services, the installation of compliant sinks and taps, cap and coved flooring, air-conditioning units and decorating in anti-bacterial paint finish.
The practice also had a clinical room that had suffered from fire damage. The Furniture Group completely re-furbished this room to bring it back into service within two weeks. (See before and after shots below). All works were carried out to meet DH Health Building Notes and Building Regulations.
Further to this, in order to create a flexible working space, a moveable soundproofed partition wall was installed in the large first floor meeting space.
